Heres how this works:
We create a storytelling competition in your company. Who can come up with the most uplifting, thought-provoking or wonderful story from these Coronavirus impacts right now? We help you facilitate, gather and share online the best stories from your people, for everyone to view or listen. If you like, people vote, and the «best» story might win a price?
This informal construct can serve a vital purpose for you and your teams. Through stories we make ourselves known to others, we empathise, we create psychological safety.
The Kick Off:
We launch the event by a 20 min online webinar where we explain the rules, and quickly teach people the basic grid for creating a good story.
The Creation:
People get a deadline to deliver by. They should all create a simple (self-filmed) film of no more than two – three minutes. This can be loaded up to a dedicated platform to which all participants have access.
The Decision:
We either form a “jury” (e.g. from within the Course Faculty), or we have everyone vote – and select an appropriate number of “winners” – the pick of the crop of your talented storytellers.
The Finale:
We finish off with a 30 min online event again. Here we hear the winning storyteller «live», we interview him or her, and round off on a «talk show» style, lighter note.
